Tips From Debbie
Great ideas for organizing start here.
Here are some ideas and products my clients and I find incredibly useful. I’ll add and change this list as I come across others I want to share with you.
- Each space has a purpose. Decide the purpose for a specific area and only keep things there that directly relate to that purpose.
- Use Lazy Susans to hold more than just your spices.
- In the fridge for easy access to yogurt, sour cream, condiments, etc.
- In your kitchen’s corner cabinets for those hard to reach, or seldom used, items (baking supplies, oils, etc.)
- To organize your kids’ craft supplies
- On your kitchen table for easy access to napkins, salt & pepper shakers, condiments, etc.
- We love COLOR! Use it to differentiate:
- Files (home, work, reference, etc.)
- Your children and/or their activities
- Buy a colorful notepad for your to-do list – it stands out on a desk full of white papers
- Lists are your friend. Have a list for everything – especially shopping and errands. They’ll help keep you on task and focused.
